Designed for anyone with little or no medical training. This course will teach you to recognize cardiac arrest, get emergency care on the way quickly, and help a person until more advanced care arrives to take over. The course also covers adult choking and naloxone (Narcan) administration.

Video-based course ensures consistency. Instructor-led, hands-on class format reinforces skills proficiency. The course is updated with the newest science and recommendations. Certification is awarded upon completion of this course. Students will receive an American Heart Association Heart Saver CPR AED course completion card that is valid for two years.
During the course, an AHA instructor conducts video-based lessons and works with students to complete their CPR and AED use.
Optional modules in child CPR and AED use and infant CPR, including child and infant choking.

How long is my certification good for?
All American Heart Association courses are two year certifications
Do I have to take a written examination to pass the Heart Saver AED course?
Although a Heart Saver exam is available, you are not required to take a written examination. A certification card will be issued once you have successfully completed the course.
Can I take this course if I am a healthcare provider?
No, all healthcare providers are required to take the BLS for healthcare providers CPR course.
