GUESS WHAT!!!!!!!!
Seymour Ambulance is also having an Evening EMT-B class. The class is scheduled for 6pm. – 10pm. Mondays, Wednesday s and every other Saturday.
The class starts Monday June 23, 2008 and ends August 25, 2008.

Class costs $500.00 witch includes AHA CPR certification, Text books, Stethoscope and CPR pocket mask

SEMS Members Work with AMR at Fatal MCA

The Waterbury Republican featured an article about the fast response of two Seymour EMS member’s to a motorcycle accident on route 8:
Two Seymour Ambulance Association volunteers got on Route 8 on their way to a bookstore in Milford less than a minute later, coming upon the scene almost immediately after Foley started working.
Without the ambulance, Jesse Rallis and Keith Walsh, the two Seymour responders, would have been equally hand-tied.The three EMTs worked together, despite being strangers. The team was able to work on the patient and make the split-second decision to take him to Griffin Hospital before the ambulance corps was able to respond to the dispatch.
